Digital Light Projectors (DLPs) are now available for instructor check out at all WDFW regional offices. If you or your fellow instructors have access to a laptop computer, use of a DLP is just the ticket for presentations, DVDs, etc!
Please note that DLPs are not available for permanent loan. Instructors must check out and return DLPs for each class. Also, please remember that DLPs are fragile units--and replacement bulbs cost as much as $400!
If you use DLPs in your classes, remember, too, that we have a complete outline of the Student Manual available on CD. Most instructors received one of the CDs last year or earlier this year. Contact a member of the hunter education team if you still haven't received a copy.
The DLP has become a standard feature in many hunter education classes, and we are trying to honor Chief Bjork's request to provide additional training aids and materials for instructor use.
